Mathify App Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your country to use educational apps, to use Mathify. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use Mathify and accept these Terms on your behalf.

2. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep this information up to date.
• Each account is limited to use on one device at a time. Attempting to access your account from another device may result in a temporary lock. To request a device change, contact support at support@mathify.co.za.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
• If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support immediately.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Mathify offers Free, Novice, Expert, and Master subscription tiers. Some features are only available with a paid subscription. Subscription prices and features are outlined in the app and may be updated at any time.
• The AI Tutor feature is not available in the Free tier once your trial has ended.
• Subscription payments are handled through the Google Play Store. Your subscription will renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the billing period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
• All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

• All content provided by Mathify, including videos, explanations, AI chat responses, images, and design, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without permission.
• You may not use the content for commercial purposes without written consent from Mathify.
• Mathify may provide access to AI-powered features (such as Mathy or the AI Tutor) and user-generated content. While we aim for accuracy, Mathify does not guarantee that all responses or content are correct or suitable for your specific situation. Use the content at your own discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Mathify to:

• Violate any local, national, or international law or regulation;
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Mathify's systems or other users' accounts;
• Disrupt or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

6. Account Termination

Mathify reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms, suspected fraud, or any behavior deemed harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use Mathify will cease immediately. No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy (https://mathify.co.za/privacy). By using Mathify, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

• Mathify is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind.
• We do not warrant that Mathify will always be available, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Mathify is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mathify and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers; or (c) any other matter relating to the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

Mathify reserves the right to update or change these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
